How memory is distributed in Android 4.4 and above
Built-in memory is the total volume of the built-in NAND chip. That is, if you have it written that there are 4 GB in a smartphone or tablet, then in fact much less will be available, since part of the memory is used by the system itself.
The microcircuit itself is divided into sections:
- /boot ~10 MB
- / root ~32 MB,
- /system ~256 MB,
- /cache ~256 MB,

But sometimes after swapping places the message that there is not enough space in the device memory continues to pop up. In this case, it is necessary to increase the memory for applications, that is, increase the /data section
